Meet Brenda Heaney
Brenda is part of two big families. Her husband and three daughters keep her busy at home and All Trans is the second. After 23 years with the credit union, she has just stepped into her new role as Manager for the Sunlife Centre Branch.
Brenda’s long commitment to All Trans goes to show that she really is an important part of the institution and does go the distance for members. “I’ve always felt I was part of a close team even during my eight years as a Mobile Money Manager working on my own every day and making my own schedule” she says.
That team player mentality has won her a new position just last week and she is already seeking out opportunities for improvements. “What I do is much the same as before; I deal with deposits, lending, investing, customer service but I’m stationary now with two staff to manage which presents some new opportunities for me to reach existing and potential All Trans members."
“I’m always looking for new ways to accommodate member needs and always remember to look at each member as an individual. The beauty of a credit union is that we can provide more customized service and products, be more flexible with members who need us to be and offer more in terms of constructive advice and planning”.
